Job Description

We are seeking an inspirational, dynamic, and visionary Principal to lead our esteemed institution, Le Bocage International School, in its commitment to excellence at our new administrative and educational support hub in Ebene. As the chief academic and administrative officer, you will be the driving force behind our strategic vision, responsible for providing unparalleled leadership and meticulous operational oversight across all facets of school life. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all academic programs, administrative functions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Oversee the implementation and continuous development of the IB curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Recruit, manage, mentor, and evaluate highly qualified faculty and staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and accountability.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Develop and manage the school budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and financial sustainability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, staff, the Board of Directors, and the wider community.
  • Lead the school's accreditation processes and ensure compliance with all educational regulations and standards.
  • Drive innovation in teaching methodologies and educational technology integration to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Represent the school at local, national, and international educational forums and conferences.
  • Implement and enforce school policies and procedures consistently and fairly, ensuring a respectful and orderly environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Education Leadership, Educational Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of substantive experience as a Principal or Head of School in an international setting.
  • Demonstrated success in leading an IB World School and achieving strong academic outcomes.
  • Extensive experience with international school accreditation processes (e.g., CIS, NEASC).
  • Fluency in French in addition to English to cater to our diverse community.
