Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute daily menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, factoring in client preferences, dietary restrictions, and nutritional needs.
  • Source and purchase high-quality, fresh ingredients from local markets and trusted suppliers.
  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of cuisines and dishes to exceptional standards.
  • Maintain impeccable hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, stock rotation, and budget effectively, minimizing waste.
  • Cater for private events, special occasions, and guests as required.
  • Collaborate with household staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adapt menus and cooking styles spontaneously to accommodate changes in client schedule or preferences.
  • Oversee the proper storage and preservation of food items.
  • Research and introduce new recipes, culinary trends, and healthy meal options.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding client affairs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Private Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant/hotel for at least 3 years.
  • Extensive knowledge of diverse cuisines and cooking techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan varied and balanced menus.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a respectful demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid food handler's permit/certificate.
  • Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and occasional travel.
