Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning, preparing, and implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Provide individualized or small group support to students, reinforcing learning concepts and assisting with assignments.
  • Prepare and organize classroom materials, displays, and learning stations to enhance the educational experience.
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, playtime, lunch breaks, and transitions, ensuring their safety and engagement.
  • Help maintain a clean, tidy, and organized classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Observe and document student progress, behavior, and challenges, communicating relevant observations to the lead teacher.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom culture that promotes student participation and respect.
  • Support students with special needs under the guidance of the lead teacher, adapting activities as necessary.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as grading papers, record-keeping, and communicating with parents when required.
