Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Tutor to join a family in Kamloops, British Columbia. This unique full-time opportunity offers the distinct benefit of live-in accommodation, integrating you seamlessly into the student’s learning environment and community. As a Private Tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized academic instruction and support to a student, fostering their intellectual growth and helping them achieve their educational goals. This role goes beyond traditional teaching; you will act as a mentor, guiding the student through their curriculum, enhancing their study skills, and cultivating a genuine love for learning.
Your day-to-day will involve developing customized lesson plans, conducting one-on-one sessions, assisting with homework and projects, and preparing the student for exams. You will regularly assess the student’s progress, adapt teaching methods as needed, and communicate effectively with the family regarding academic development. Key Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one tutoring in core subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Sciences (specific subjects dependent on student's requirements).
- Assist with homework, assignments, and projects, ensuring thorough understanding and completion.
- Prepare the student for tests, quizzes, and major examinations, employing effective study strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the student's progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with the family regarding the student's academic development and areas for improvement.

Required Skills
