Naivas Supermarket is seeking a dedicated Procurement Assistant for our Store Operations team in Kibera, Nairobi. Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders for store supplies and merchandise, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Liaise with suppliers to track orders, confirm delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels at various stores to identify replenishment needs and prevent stock-outs.
  • Collaborate with store managers and relevant departments to understand their procurement requirements.
  • Conduct basic market research to identify potential new suppliers and assess product availability and pricing.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings initiatives.
