Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive procurement strategies and policies.
- Lead negotiation efforts for key supplier contracts, terms, and pricing to secure optimal value.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendor partners.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage the entire procure-to-pay process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and ensure procurement efforts align with business objectives.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the procurement function.
- Oversee inventory levels and demand forecasting to prevent stockouts and optimize working capital.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, savings, and key metrics to senior management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA
