Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requisition to order placement and delivery.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for money.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare, review, and administer procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyse market trends, spending patterns, and supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to ethical standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Support inventory management and demand planning processes to optimise stock levels.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Procurement Officer or similar role.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
