As our Procurement Officer, you will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from identifying requirements and conducting rigorous market analysis to negotiating favourable contracts and fostering strong, mutually beneficial vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment, for goods and services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to secure optimal pricing, quality, and service levels.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcomes for Career.zycto.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs and manage supplier non-conformance issues.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans where necessary.
- Utilize procurement software (ERP) for purchase order processing, contract management, and reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management (minimum 3 years).
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and procurement software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualification or working towards it.
