Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for various categories of goods and services.
  • Conduct market research, identify potential suppliers, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations to secure advantageous terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
  • Analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed-upon KPIs, conduct regular reviews, and address performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to understand requirements and facilitate effective procurement processes.
  • Manage purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory levels to optimize working capital.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and operational factors.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, leveraging technology and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts and build strong vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
