Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Support Officer to join our growing team in Sandy Bay, Hobart. Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with vendor selection, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management, including maintaining vendor databases.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, tracking orders and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain precise procurement records, contracts, and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance.
  • Support the negotiation of pricing and terms with suppliers under guidance from senior procurement staff.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide updates on order status.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels and forecasting future material requirements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to ethical standards and company guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within procurement or supply chain.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
