Job Description
Are you a creative visionary with a knack for meticulous planning and seamless execution? J. Kalachand & Co Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Producer with expertise in content creation and coordination to join our marketing team in Goodlands. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bringing our brand stories to life across various platforms. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of content production, from initial concept development and scriptwriting to filming, editing, and final distribution. This encompasses a broad spectrum of content, including promotional videos for new product launches, engaging social media campaigns, internal communications, and captivating digital advertisements.
The ideal candidate will be a master multi-tasker, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting tight deadlines. You will act as the central hub for all content initiatives, ensuring perfect synchronization between creative teams, marketing strategists, external vendors, and internal stakeholders. Your leadership will ensure that all content not only aligns with our brand’s voice and strategic objectives but also captivates our audience and drives engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of diverse content projects, including video, photography, and digital graphics, from concept to completion.
- Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure efficient production workflows.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) and external partners (freelancers, agencies, vendors) to align on content goals and deliverables.
- Manage all aspects of production logistics, including scouting locations, scheduling shoots, hiring crew, and sourcing equipment.
- Oversee content review cycles, ensuring all materials meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and strategic objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Conduct post-production supervision, including editing, sound design, motion graphics, and color grading, ensuring final assets are polished and market-ready.
- Analyze content performance metrics and provide insights to optimize future content strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content production and digital marketing.
- Maintain an organized content library and asset management system.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a Producer or similar content coordination role.
- Demonstrable experience in managing video, photo, and digital content production from concept to delivery.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content distribution strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience working within the retail or consumer electronics industry.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) is a plus.
