Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
- Translate user research findings, business requirements, and technical constraints into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Develop and maintain design systems and UI component libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define product strategy and roadmap, ensuring design alignment with business objectives.
- Work hand-in-hand with Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, providing design specifications and reviewing implemented features.
- Facilitate design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder presentations to gather feedback and build consensus.
- Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the user experience within cross-functional teams.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and evolving project requirements.
- Present and defend design choices clearly and articulately to diverse audiences, from internal teams to leadership.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design (UX/UI Design) for web and mobile applications.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a robust understanding of user-centered design principles, visual design, and interaction design.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Solid understanding of information architecture, usability principles, and design thinking methodologies.
- Experience conducting and synthesizing user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to articulate design decisions and rationale clearly and persuasively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience designing for complex enterprise software, SaaS products, or FinTech applications.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints.
- Experience contributing to or leading design system initiatives.
- Ability to create motion graphics or interactive animations to enhance user experience.
