Key Responsibilities
- Define, evangelize, and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for technical products or platform components.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify new opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and QA teams throughout the product development lifecycle using agile methodologies.
- Prioritize product backlog based on strategic importance, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
- Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on features to optimize user experience and achieve business goals.
- Communicate product updates, release plans, and progress to stakeholders across the organization.
- Act as a subject matter expert for your product domain, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and dependencies in product development.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3 years in a technical product management role.
- Proven ability to define and deliver successful software products, especially platform or API-driven solutions.
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand complex system architectures and discuss technical tradeoffs with engineers.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using data to drive product decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
