Key Responsibilities
- Operate production line machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following standard operating procedures.
- Monitor product quality at various stages of the production line, identifying and reporting any defects or issues immediately.
- Perform routine quality checks on products and packaging to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the setup, changeover, and shutdown of production equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to hygiene and sanitation protocols.
- Handle raw materials and finished products according to established guidelines, minimizing waste and damage.
- Package finished products accurately and efficiently, preparing them for storage or shipment.
- Load and unload materials and products, potentially involving lifting and moving heavy items.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a factory, production, or manufacturing environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills (ability to read labels, count items).
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, GMP) is a plus.
