You will operate well-maintained vehicles, ensuring they are clean and in optimal condition before and after each journey. Beyond driving, you will be expected to assist passengers with their luggage, provide helpful local information, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their destinations via private bookings and scheduled shuttle routes.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-presented vehicle at all times, conducting daily checks on fuel, oil, tires, and lights.
- Assist passengers with luggage loading and unloading, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure punctuality for all pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to passenger inquiries and special requests professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any vehicle maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding scheduling, delays, or emergencies.
- Handle payments and issue receipts accurately, if required by specific service models.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions promptly to management.
Required Skills
- Valid professional driving license (Public Service Vehicle endorsement preferred)
- Clean driving record with no major violations for the past 5 years
- Excellent knowledge of Beau Bassin, Rose Hill, and wider Mauritius road networks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Punctual and reliable
