Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee technical aspects of assigned projects from initiation to closure.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and construction.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Evaluate project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the quality control processes and ensure delivery of high-standard project outputs.
  • Participate in project reviews and contribute to lessons learned sessions for continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial)
  • 3+ years of experience in a Project Engineering or similar role
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project lifecycle management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Fluency in German (written and spoken)
  • Experience in the manufacturing or infrastructure sector
