Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee technical aspects of assigned projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and construction.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Evaluate project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Oversee the quality control processes and ensure delivery of high-standard project outputs.
- Participate in project reviews and contribute to lessons learned sessions for continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial)
- 3+ years of experience in a Project Engineering or similar role
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and project lifecycle management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Fluency in German (written and spoken)
- Experience in the manufacturing or infrastructure sector
