Job Description

As a Project Reporting Trainee, you will work closely with our Project Management team, supporting the collection, organization, and analysis of key project data. You will contribute to ensuring that our project managers and leadership have the necessary insights to track progress, identify potential issues, and make informed adjustments. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in gathering and consolidating project data from various sources.
- Accurately enter and maintain project information within internal tracking systems and databases.
- Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc project status reports and presentations.
- Help in monitoring project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation data.
- Participate in team meetings, taking notes and tracking action items related to reporting needs.
- Assist with data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of project reports.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and templates.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the project management office.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, formatting).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new tools and processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Basic understanding of project management principles is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an office environment or an internship where data entry or reporting was a component.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira) is an asset but not required.
- Demonstrated interest in the marketing and advertising industry.
