Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, activities, durations, and resource requirements.
- Identify critical path activities and potential schedule conflicts, proactively recommending solutions.
- Perform variance analysis, track project progress against baselines, and report on schedule performance.
- Integrate cost and resource data into schedules to create comprehensive project plans.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate schedule status to project teams and senior management.
- Conduct 'what-if' scenario analysis and provide impact assessments for proposed changes.
- Support risk management activities by identifying schedule-related risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Develop and implement scheduling best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards for various stakeholders on project health and forecasts.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles
