Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Site Assistant to join our vibrant team in Lekki. As a Project Site Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth and efficient operation of our project sites, providing crucial administrative, logistical, and operational support to project managers and site supervisors. Your role will directly impact project timelines, resource allocation, and overall success.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication between various stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring that all on-site activities adhere to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Project Managers and Site Supervisors, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, safety records, and material inventories.
  • Assist in the coordination of on-site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment movement, and workforce scheduling.
  • Facilitate communication between the project site, office teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Track project progress against schedules and budgets, reporting any deviations to the Project Manager.
  • Manage and organize office supplies, tools, and equipment at the project site.
  • Assist with onboarding new site personnel and managing their administrative requirements.
  • Support the preparation and submission of project close-out documentation.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the project site.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within construction or project-based industries
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project)
  • Basic understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols
