Job Description
A Prompt Engineer plays a pivotal role in the lifecycle of AI products, particularly those leveraging advanced Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompts for various Large Language Models (LLMs) to achieve desired outputs and functionalities.
- Conduct systematic experimentation with different prompting techniques (e.g., zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, tree-of-thought) to enhance model performance.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and researchers to integrate optimized prompts into production systems and improve model robustness.
- Analyze and evaluate LLM outputs for accuracy, relevance, coherence, and adherence to ethical guidelines.
- Develop automated frameworks and tools for prompt generation, evaluation, and version control.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering best practices.
- Document prompt designs, testing methodologies, and performance metrics.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of AI product development by providing insights into LLM capabilities and limitations.
- Ensure prompt designs adhere to responsible AI principles, minimizing bias and promoting fairness.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in prompt engineering, NLP, or computational linguistics.
