Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Property Managers with daily administrative tasks, including correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
  • Coordinate and track property maintenance and repair requests, liaising with vendors and tenants to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of lease agreements, renewal notices, and other critical property-related documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property and tenant files, both physical and digital.
  • Conduct regular property inspections, identifying maintenance needs and ensuring properties meet established standards.
  • Support the move-in and move-out processes, including coordinating inspections and documentation.
  • Assist with rent collection and financial record-keeping, ensuring accurate processing of payments.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts for vacant units, including preparing listings and coordinating viewings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant housing laws, regulations, and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative support experience, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Customer-service oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of local housing laws and regulations in Maputo.
  • Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
