Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep of a diverse portfolio of properties within Isiolo County.
- Develop and manage property budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with tenants, handling inquiries, concerns, and lease agreements effectively and professionally.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of estate staff, including maintenance personnel, ensuring high performance and adherence to service standards.
- Coordinate and oversee all maintenance, repair, and renovation projects, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, ensure safety compliance, and uphold property aesthetics.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local government regulations, property laws, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Implement and refine property management strategies to enhance property value, optimize occupancy, and improve tenant retention.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements for all outsourced services.
- Handle marketing and leasing activities for vacant units, ensuring optimal occupancy rates and timely renewals.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in property or estate management, preferably in Kenya.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of property laws, regulations, and health and safety standards in Kenya.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
