As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring all common areas, lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and office spaces within the designated facility are kept clean, orderly, and presentable at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing of surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand towels) are always available.
- Empty waste bins and transport trash to designated disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors in public areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and elevators.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to supervision.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain an organized storage area.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as required or scheduled.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial services.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
