Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communications and public relations strategies.
  • Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, media advisories, and fact sheets, and coordinating interviews.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, identifying opportunities and potential reputational risks.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for media inquiries and facilitate effective communication.
  • Draft compelling speeches, presentations, and internal communications for senior leadership.
  • Support crisis communication efforts by developing key messages and coordinating responses.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage PR events, press conferences, and media briefings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
  • Report on PR campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
  • Proven experience in media relations and public affairs.
