Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns that align with company goals and objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Draft and edit compelling press releases, media kits, speeches, articles, and other communication materials.
- Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch stories to relevant outlets to secure positive coverage.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on PR campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Manage and respond to media inquiries and interview requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Support crisis communication efforts, including developing messaging and managing media response.
- Collaborate with marketing, social media, and internal communications teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Organize and coordinate press conferences, media events, and promotional activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging communication tools.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a PR agency setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong portfolio of PR materials (press releases, articles, etc.).
- Proven ability to cultivate media relationships and secure earned media placements.
- Strong understanding of media landscape, including traditional and digital channels.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in PR monitoring and measurement tools.
- Strategic thinking with a creative approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cision, Meltwater, or similar media relations software.
