Career.zycto is actively seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team as Public Sanitation Aides with flexible schedules in Fadeyi, Lagos. Key Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of waste and litter from public areas including streets, parks, bus stops, and market environments.
- Operate and maintain sanitation tools and equipment safely and efficiently, such as brooms, shovels, waste bins, and refuse collection trolleys.
- Empty public waste bins regularly and ensure proper waste segregation when applicable.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to remove dirt, debris, and refuse from sidewalks, gutters, and other public surfaces.
- Report any instances of illegal dumping, damaged public property, or significant sanitation hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure comprehensive coverage and efficient task completion across designated routes.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public and community members.
- Participate in special clean-up initiatives and community engagement programs as required.
- Ensure the proper use and storage of all cleaning materials and tools.
