This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of young learners and contributing to a dynamic educational environment within the heart of Nigeria’s capital.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial supportive role, working closely with lead teachers to foster an engaging, inclusive, and effective learning atmosphere for students across various grade levels. Your primary goal will be to assist in classroom management, provide individualized and small-group support to students who may need extra guidance or enrichment, and help prepare a variety of instructional materials that enhance lesson delivery and cater to diverse learning styles. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a public school setting, directly contributing to academic success and student well-being within the Nigerian curriculum framework. You will be an essential part of the school community, helping to create an environment where every child feels valued, understood, and motivated to learn and achieve their full potential.

We are seeking someone who is patient, highly proactive, adaptable, and possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Your responsibilities will extend beyond direct teaching support to include administrative assistance for the lead teacher, ensuring classroom resources are well-maintained and accessible, and assisting with the logistical aspects of field trips or special school events. You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth daily flow of classroom activities, from helping with lesson execution and managing transitions between subjects to supervising students during non-instructional times such as recess, lunch, or during extracurricular activities. Your ability to anticipate needs, offer timely assistance, and maintain an orderly yet stimulating environment will be highly valued. This part-time role offers flexibility while providing a profoundly rewarding experience where your efforts directly impact student development, foster positive behavioral patterns, and enhance the overall educational quality of the school. Join a team committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and thinkers in Abuja, and become a part of a mission to elevate public education standards through direct, impactful engagement.
