Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects, regressions, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with software developers to understand product requirements, design specifications, and ensure testability of features.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of web, mobile, or backend applications.
- Report, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking systems, providing detailed and clear documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to an agile development process.
- Continuously research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and strategies to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to the overall QA best practices and knowledge base.
- Work closely with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and concepts.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium).
