Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for new features and functionalities.
- Perform root cause analysis of issues and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies to improve our QA processes.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer (4+ years).
- Strong proficiency in a programming language like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with performance and security testing.
