Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test scripts and test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Implement and evolve test automation frameworks to support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless execution and timely feedback.
- Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform root cause analysis for identified defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices in test automation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, testing trends, and automation tools to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in QA automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with database testing and SQL queries.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
