Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and existing functionalities.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, working closely with development teams for resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and ensure testability.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to an agile development process.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on software quality to all stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging QA technologies, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of SQL for database testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Previous experience working in a global or multicultural team environment.
- ISTQB certification or similar professional QA accreditation.
