Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and existing functionalities.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, working closely with development teams for resolution.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and ensure testability.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to an agile development process.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback on software quality to all stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging QA technologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of SQL for database testing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Previous experience working in a global or multicultural team environment.
  • ISTQB certification or similar professional QA accreditation.
