Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and report results accurately and efficiently.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate defect tracking systems.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure defects are clearly understood and resolved in a timely manner.
- Participate in the review of software requirements and design specifications to ensure testability.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
- Learn and apply various testing methodologies and tools, including manual and introductory automation concepts.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and overall best practices within the team.
- Communicate testing progress, results, and risks to project stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and fundamental testing concepts.
