Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and technical specifications, ensuring testability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage (where applicable).
- Provide clear and concise feedback on product quality, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor post-release product performance and gather user feedback to inform future testing efforts.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, system).
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, TestRail).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- ISTQB certification.
