Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using appropriate bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.
- Provide clear and concise bug reports and status updates to project stakeholders.
- Advocate for quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work closely with product managers to ensure user stories are thoroughly tested and meet acceptance criteria.
- Continuously learn and apply new testing techniques and tools.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, UAT).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Prior experience working in a globally distributed team.
