Job Description
Brookhouse School is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and experienced Qualified Primary School Teacher to join our thriving academic team. This pivotal role involves delivering a rich and engaging curriculum to primary-aged students, fostering an environment where curiosity is celebrated, and every child feels valued and inspired to learn. Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum framework (e.g., British National Curriculum, IPC, or IB Primary Years Programme).
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and student well-being.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, academic needs, and developmental milestones.
- Participate actively in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational experience.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and a respectful learning atmosphere.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school community, upholding its values and ethos.
- Utilize educational technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in teaching primary-aged students within an international school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with the British National Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum (IPC), or IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
- Prior experience in an international school environment.
