Job Description

Brookhouse School is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and experienced Qualified Primary School Teacher to join our thriving academic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum framework (e.g., British National Curriculum, IPC, or IB Primary Years Programme).
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and student well-being.
  • Assess, monitor, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, academic needs, and developmental milestones.
  • Participate actively in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational experience.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and a respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Contribute to the broader life of the school community, upholding its values and ethos.
  • Utilize educational technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in teaching primary-aged students within an international school setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the British National Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum (IPC), or IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
  • Prior experience in an international school environment.
