Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring clear and detailed reporting.
- Collaborate closely with product management and development teams to understand requirements and technical specifications.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, providing valuable input on sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement in the development process.
- Provide constructive feedback to developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging tools in quality assurance and software testing.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a flexible work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
