Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings within an Agile framework.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, where applicable, to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Monitor and analyze test results, providing detailed reports on product quality and potential risks.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and test management tools.
- Ability to perform detailed root cause analysis for identified defects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL queries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Knowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing principles.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
