Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products according to established specifications and quality standards.
- Perform various quality tests and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment, accurately recording results.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformances, defects, and deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with production personnel and engineering teams to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all inspection activities, test results, and quality data.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
- Monitor and verify adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality best practices and inspection techniques.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., SPC, 5S, Lean).
- Proficiency in using various measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
