Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods against established specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and operational procedures.
- Document and report quality inspection results, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Identify root causes of quality issues and collaborate with production teams to implement preventative measures.
- Calibrate and maintain QC equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures, specifications, and test methods.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control principles and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare comprehensive quality reports for management review.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing or factory setting (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC).
