Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and non-conformances, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to establish quality control plans for new products and processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and provide regular reports to management.
- Oversee inspection processes, ensuring product and process integrity at all stages of manufacturing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and 8D.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
- Manage supplier quality, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are integrated into product development.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Quality Management or a related field.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Familiarity with specific industry regulations (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical devices).
- Experience working in a multinational team or diverse cultural environment.
