Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and existing functionalities.
- Design, build, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate testing into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and issues, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Actively participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings, providing critical input on product specifications and user stories.
- Champion quality assurance best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
- Monitor production systems for quality-related issues and assist in post-deployment validation and support.
- Stay current with new testing tools, strategies, and technologies to enhance our QA processes.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Quality Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#) for automation scripting.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, crucial for remote team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
