Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a meticulous and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic project team in Frankfurt am Main. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for diverse construction projects.
  • Develop and manage tender documentation, including bills of quantities and specifications.
  • Evaluate contractor bids, conduct negotiations, and prepare contractual agreements.
  • Administer contracts, including valuation of work completed, processing payments, and managing variations.
  • Monitor project expenditures against budgets, provide regular financial reports, and forecast costs.
  • Identify and analyze commercial risks, providing strategies for mitigation and cost control.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure project financial success.
  • Prepare and agree upon final accounts with contractors, ensuring fair and accurate settlements.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., RIB iTWO, Buildertrend, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of construction contract law and procurement procedures.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional qualification such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent.
  • Fluency in German (B2/C1 level or higher).
  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software and methodologies.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
