Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy quarry plant machinery including crushers, screeners, conveyors, excavators, and wheel loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform pre-operational checks, routine inspections, and basic preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
  • Monitor plant performance, production rates, and material quality, making adjustments as necessary to optimize output.
  • Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, operational inefficiencies, or safety hazards promptly.
  • Assist with plant clean-up, material stockpiling, and general site maintenance as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and coordinated plant operations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience operating heavy quarry or construction plant machinery (e.g., crushers, excavators, loaders).
  • Strong understanding of quarrying processes and material handling techniques.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and relevant machinery operating certifications (e.g., Führerschein für Baumaschinen).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a similar quarry or aggregate production facility in Germany.
  • Knowledge of German health and safety regulations pertinent to heavy industry.
  • Basic computer literacy for logging production data and maintenance records.
  • First Aid certification.
