Career.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Quick Service Restaurant Cashier to join a bustling team in East Lismore. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and process payments using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and digital payments with precision, providing correct change and receipts.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised cashier station and front counter area, adhering to all hygiene standards.
- Assist customers with queries, provide information about menu items, and resolve minor issues or escalate them to management as needed.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks or packaging orders during peak times, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Replenish condiment stations, cutlery, and napkin dispensers as required.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all food safety, health, and safety regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and restocking.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong numerical aptitude and ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately.
