Key Responsibilities
- Present engaging and informative radio programs, live and pre-recorded, adhering to ERTU's broadcasting standards.
- Develop program content, including researching topics, identifying guests, and writing compelling scripts.
- Conduct live interviews with guests, experts, and community members on a variety of subjects.
- Operate studio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, and playback systems, during broadcasts.
- Engage with listeners through call-ins, social media, and other interactive platforms.
- Stay informed on local, national, and international news, as well as current affairs relevant to the Faiyum audience.
- Maintain a professional and consistent on-air persona, ensuring clear articulation and appropriate tone.
- Participate in station promotional activities, community events, and public appearances as required.
- Collaborate with producers, sound engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Adhere to all broadcasting regulations, ethical guidelines, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Fluent in Arabic with excellent pronunciation and vocal delivery.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a radio presenter or similar broadcasting role.
- Strong interviewing and communication skills.
- Ability to research, write, and edit engaging content and scripts.
- Proficiency in operating standard radio broadcasting software and studio equipment.
- Excellent improvisation and ad-libbing abilities for live broadcasts.
- Deep understanding of current affairs, local culture, and audience interests in Faiyum.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle live broadcast situations calmly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity).
