Key Responsibilities
- Host live radio shows, ensuring engaging content, seamless delivery, and smooth transitions.
- Research, write, and produce compelling show segments, interviews, and special features.
- Conduct live and pre-recorded interviews with guests, artists, and community members.
- Curate and select music, ensuring compliance with broadcasting regulations and station format.
- Operate broadcast equipment, including mixing desks, playout systems, and audio editing software.
- Engage actively with listeners via phone calls, social media, and on-air interactions.
- Maintain accurate program logs and ensure adherence to all broadcasting standards and legal requirements.
- Represent the station at external events and community engagements as required, acting as a brand ambassador.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional radio presenting experience.
- Exceptional on-air presence, voice control, and clear articulation.
- Proven ability to connect with and engage a diverse audience.
- Strong improvisation and ad-libbing skills, maintaining composure under pressure.
- Proficiency in broadcast automation and audio editing software.
- Excellent research, writing, and interviewing capabilities.
