Career.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Radio Promoter to join our passionate team in Kumpfmühl, Regensburg. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive radio promotion strategies for assigned artists and releases.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with radio programmers, music directors, and key industry contacts.
- Pitch new music effectively to target radio stations, securing airplay and feature placements.
- Monitor radio airplay, tracking and reporting on campaign performance using relevant industry tools.
- Identify and analyze radio trends, market shifts, and competitive landscapes to inform strategy.
- Prepare and distribute promotional materials, including press kits, music files, and promotional tracks.
- Coordinate artist interviews, in-studio performances, and promotional appearances with radio stations.
- Collaborate closely with artist management, A&R, and marketing teams to ensure aligned efforts.
- Provide regular, detailed reports on radio campaign progress and outcomes.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and showcases to network and stay abreast of new talent and opportunities.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in radio promotion or a related music industry role.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the German radio market and key broadcasters.
- Proven track record of securing airplay and building strong industry relationships.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in music industry software and tracking tools (e.g., MusicMaster, BDS, Mediabase).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for music across diverse genres and a keen ear for commercial potential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Existing network of contacts within national and regional radio stations in Germany.
