Career.zycto is proud to partner with a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center located on Akin Adesola, Victoria Island, Lagos, seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiographer. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain X-ray, CT, and potentially MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per established protocols.
- Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
- Explain procedures to patients clearly and empathetically, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Adhere strictly to radiation protection protocols for patients, staff, and self, minimizing exposure.
- Accurately record patient information and imaging data in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or irregularities.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs to stay updated with advancements in radiography.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in scheduling and managing patient flow to optimize departmental efficiency.
Required Skills
- Valid professional license to practice as a Radiographer in Nigeria.
- Proven experience operating X-ray and CT imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and practices.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and data recording.

- Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
