Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with journey planning, ticket purchases, and general enquiries.
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers and staff, adhering to all operational procedures and emergency protocols.
- Monitor station platforms and facilities, reporting any issues or hazards promptly.
- Assist with the boarding and alighting of passengers, including those with special needs or mobility challenges.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming station environment, including managing litter and reporting spills.
- Operate station equipment such as public address systems, ticket machines, and information screens.
- Handle minor incidents and disruptions efficiently, providing clear and calm communication to passengers.
- Work collaboratively with other station staff, train crews, and emergency services during routine operations and emergencies.
- Conduct regular checks of station infrastructure and report any maintenance requirements.
