Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies or damages against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately verify quantities and quality of goods received.
- Document and report any damaged or missing items promptly.
- Organize and store received goods in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Collaborate with inventory, purchasing, and other departments to resolve receiving issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Fluent in Portuguese and working knowledge of English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory role.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Certification to operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery.
